Information on Volunteering

Volunteers are expected to follow those things which the parish has set down for the particular ministry or program. Volunteers are required to sign or fill out the appropriate forms for the position to which they are volunteering. Ask the person responsible for that particular area what this means or look in the guidelines document.

The mission of St. Mathias Parish is to proclaim and celebrate our salvation through Jesus Christ, our pilgrimage to the Father’s Kingdom enlivened by the Holy Spirit. Our Catholic faith community is nourished by our sacramental life, especially the Sunday celebration of the Eucharist. With Mother Mary as our model, we demonstrate our faith through worship, education, vocations and service.
